Baby doesn't sleep

Absolutely exhausted😩 My girl doesn't want to sleep. She is 6 weeks. Didn't sleep today during her walk, barely slept during the day. I just spent 3 hours putting her to bed, she fell asleep for 5 minutes and woke up again screaming. I haven't slept more than 2-3 hours for 3 days. It's even worse than when she was born. I don't know what to do. I tried everything, swaddling, rocking, co sleeping, dummies, putting her to sleep in different positions nothing seems to work. I'm exhausted and sleep deprived and feel like I'm going mad :(

My little girl did this it lasted I think maybe a week. She was eating a lot more too and had a growth spurt! I used a lot of Dancing fruits videos 😂 and also figured she slept well with the hoover noise on the app baby+ it has all different white noises or lullabies turns out she likes the hoover one 😂🤦‍♀️. It will pass maybe see if you can get someone to watch her for a couple hours so you can rest until then? X

Have you tried safe chest sleeping?

Sleep for my baby got better around the 2.5 month mark. Carrier naps, add white noise, contact napping on your chest, side lay nursing naps, brest friend naps, some babies sleep in the car or in a stroller.

It sounds like a baby leap, the time, usually lasts about few days-2 weeks when the baby sleeps worse, cry more and need more time with parents, read about it but if you seem to be extraordinary consult the pediatrician

During that time I didn’t put my baby to bed, just sleeping with her or let her sleep next to me/ on me

@Cerys Yes mine loves the vacuum noise too🤣 But even that didn't work tonight! I'm wondering if it's just sleep regression, as she is generally very fussy even when she feeds, that's unusual for her. My mom looked after her for 2 hours so that's as much sleep as I could get today so far 😂 I will try dancing fruit videos 😂 Thanks!

@Carys Yes. She swings her arms violently, kicks and screams, even though she normally settles on my chest within minutes:(

Definitely get a soft sling, they can sleep for hours In them

@maria my babe is also 6 weeks and he’s alternating between sleeping a lot and not sleeping at all for a few days now. It’s their growth sprout time so this is probably expected. One suggestion I found work is to have someone else get them to sleep if you haven’t tried that. My babe barely sleeps on me or with me because all he smells when he’s close to me is food. So my mum or my partner help him sleep.
