Car seats for big babies

Need recommendations!!! Our 7 month old is 24lbs / 11kg and is also 80cm long. He is very rapidly outgrowing his Cybex cloud. Any recommendations for a new car seat with a big baby? Ideally looking for one that goes from 0-12 years!

I can recommend the maxi cosi mica Pro eco but it's only 0-4. Easy to fit, baby always falls asleep in it, 1 hand pull tight straps and it's been ADAC tested. My just 8 month old today is also same weight as your lo and very long!

Axkid Move.

We just got the Joie 360 for my 9 month old and he looks tiny again! It’s really deep so plenty of room for growth. We got the 0-4 years one but I know they do the same thing for 0-12 years x

We have a silver Cross which is up to 12 years old. Is rear and forward facing. Super comfortable. Our daughter is pretty tall for her age and she is still super happy rear facing and will be for sometime. The seat is very sturdy and will undoubtedly last for a long long time.

Axkid minikid 4 Or a besafe stretch Neither will get you to 12 years but about 6 I think. After that you can get a smaller more compact high backed booster which is much easier 👍🏼😊

Agree with above, go for an extended rear facing 36kg one, you won’t get one that lasts till 12, it’s all a marketing con x

I got the safety first grow and go it turns from a baby car seat rear facing to a forward and comes apart for booster

@Ligita is that the 360 one? We’re looking at that one in particular xx

The silver cross seat is £300+ whereas an axkid move which is a MUCH safer seat is £279- a quick google showed one place selling it for £219
