Feeling defeated

First time mom and feel like I have not been enjoying pregnancy, it started with my herniating a disc in my back and I feel like I’ve had every symptom under the sun. Yesterday, I just found out I failed my 3 hour glucose test and have to monitor blood sugar levels. I know that it will be worth it in the end but I am feeling very discouraged right now with how hard the journey has felt.

People do no normalize enough that pregnancy just sucks sometimes. It’s physically, mentally, and emotionally taxing. Your feelings are valid some days will be better than others💓

I love the Chardonnay said this and I agree. I have been nauseous the entire time and have been hospitalized for various reasons. I want to like it and I know it will be worth it but it is so exhausting to constantly feel sick

I feel you. I got my test results back from the 3 hour last Thursday and I have my follow up this Friday. It's been really hard trying to accept it and figure out how to manage my sugars, but you got this.

I completely understand! I have hg and it’s VERY hard for me to enjoy day to day tasks. I’m either sick or about to faint

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Little girl turning herself sideways in next to me

My little girl tonight, has spun herself so she is lying sideways in her next to me, making me panic!

Is this normal at 4.5 months, do I just lie her back normally/vertically?

Ways to induce labor naturally

Hi All! FTM, Entering week 40 and no signs of labor, no dilation yet. Please share tips and ways to induce natural labor. Induction is already scheduled on week 41 but don’t want to go through that process.

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?

Fed up

Anyone else just feeling fed up in general? I just never feel happy anymore. Wake up dreading what the day ahead of us will be like.
Little one will be 6 week tomorrow
