A lifelong writer, Tassia (she/her) has been part of Team Peanut since 2021, writing and publishing articles for the Peanut Blog (among other things!).

Writer by day and a reader by night, in her spare time, you’ll often find Tassia exploring markets or geeking out over the latest Marvel film.

Tassia is also an advocate for sustainability, supporting small businesses, and equity across all genders, races, ages, sexualities, parenting journeys, and backgrounds.

She’s passionate about connecting with readers and creating a space where everyone can feel seen, heard, and valued.

Fun facts about Tassia

  • Tassia’s been writing for as long as she can remember (if you count terrible emo poems from angsty teen years)
  • Tassia collects crystals and tarot decks ‒ over 200 crystals and 40 tarot decks, and counting!
  • She also collects copies of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, after writing her dissertation on the tragic play (and obsession over David Tennant’s performance with the RSC!).
  • Tassia has a rare medical condition called triphalangeal thumbs, and is sharing her journey to a diagnosis on TikTok and Instagram.
  • She’s attended and worked at dozens of comic cons over the years.
  • She has a black and white cat called Buffy (the Mouse Slayer).

Work experience

Tassia’s written for a range of brands, including GoGroups, Chemical Watch, Red Paddle, Butcombe Brewing Co, SOCIALight Magazine, Stars & Signs, and her marketing blog for small businesses, Night Sky Creative, but she’s much more at home writing for Peanut.
