Baby sleep

Weening

Guys I’m on night 3 of weening my daughter from breastfeeding all through the night. Last two nights she literally just woke up because I wouldn’t let her feed. So I made her some food, read her some books and went back to sleep. Hopefully tonight she stays asleep 🤞🏾

Velcro Baby Again

Has anyone else’s baby suddenly become extremely attached to them? Since my son turned 15 months, it honestly feels like we went back to the pre-1 year stage. He constantly wants to be held, wants to nurse, and basically live glued to me.

At night he wakes up and wants to sleep together again, even hugging me tightly to fall asleep. During the day he only wants to be in my arms, and if I don’t pick him up he goes straight into full tantrum mode.

I really don’t understand what changed! How are things going for you all?

Silk/satin Bonnets?

I need help. My baby has lots of hair and it’s getting dull from sleeping on it. So now I’ve been wondering if I should get her like a bonnet since she doesn’t sleep on a pillow yet. I’m a little afraid though that it could slip down the face and cause trouble breathing.

What are your thoughts? Any other suggestion? If you’re using bonnets, any recommendations?

Other

Overwhelming

Hey mamas 🤍 I wanted to ask something and see if anyone else has experienced this. Lately I’ve noticed my patience has been lower, and sometimes even normal things like touch or noise feel really overstimulating or irritating to me. It’s almost like little sensory things can throw me off for a bit. Like anything I touch it throws me off and makes me anxious. Like my sensory issues.

I was curious if any of you have felt this too around this stage with toddlers? I know we’ve all had over a year of constant stimulation, being “on,” and not a ton of quiet time, so I wondered if it’s just part of this season of motherhood. Just wanted to see if anyone else relates. 🤍
