Little ones

My LG is two weeks off her first birthday but is tiny weighing 16lbs 4oz. She’s is still in 6-9 clothes.

Paedatirician has been slow! We have a possible cows milk allergy (but not on alternative formula) and eggs!

Waiting for dietician review.

Getting her to eat is a daily battle. Everything goes on the floor. She is fine with yoghurt and fruit pouches. Sometimes a puree sweet potato. But anything else she won’t touch. She will have a bit of Wheatbix in the morning. And does like snacks, like melty sticks.

We are currently trialling carb overload with pancakes, waffles, pasta, cream cheese but refuses.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Baby sleep

Need help! My almost 1 year old has been dependant on breastfeeding through the night and is his only way of soothing.

Need help! My almost 1 year old has been dependant on breastfeeding through the night and is his only way of soothing.

This is my third child and the other two were sleeping through the night by 3 and 5months but he is still waking up and feeding or just soothing throughout the night. (I sleep on a floor bed with him)

It’s rough as he won’t let me rock him or try to change any soothing method. He has a madddd scream that busts eardrums and just absolutely looses it. I can’t help but just cave in especially when I’m half asleep in the middle of the night. I really need advice and to hear if anyone has had the same experience and what they did?. Just struggling right now with this and need to get him off the boob at night.

Teething

Molar teething

WOW. 😭 we’ve been fairly lucky that my little boy’s teething has been fairly good. However I saw his molars are starting to come out and everything seems fine, sleeps ok, drinks fine, not eating as much but still eats. BUT super sensitive as in he would scream and shout if he doesn’t get what he wants and it’s non stop screaming 😭 it’s just taken me aback since he’s been a cryer but not like this. Any tips? 😭

Relationships

MIL drama. Am I wrong?

Sooo my husbands mum wants to move over from another country and needs somewhere to stay till she finds somewhere to rent. For an indefinite amount of time. The problem is that i genuinely don’t think she will leave. She manipulates my husband to make him feel bad for her, she bankrupt herself by spending money on crap and accumulate debt fhen cries wolf and wants him to bail her out. I’m coming up to end of my mat leave and I don’t want her living with us. Especially when god knows for how long for. If she asked to stay for a couple weeks that’s fine but what if it’s 6 months / 1 year?? My husband said that’s fine just suck it up but I don’t feel that’s right for us , our falmily or our relationship but he feels sorry for her cos she’s got nowhere else to go. Would you let MIL move in till finding somewhere permanently ? I do feel bad in a way but I just know it’s not right for us. Pls vote and Let me know your thoughts too
