Birth Control

Hello, just wondering has anyone or is anyone on the patch? Ive been on it for a while now and have not had any problems with it and love it. But have u guys experienced spotting and cramping before ur period is due?

I’m getting the copper iud next Friday and I’m so nervous. I’ve been on the pill since I was 13 years old and after I had my daughters I went back to it. But I’m tired of it, I wanna try something without hormones. Any options on the copper iud.

Hello so my first iud came out so they had to put another one in, I've been cramping so much today and yesterday to where I've been yelling out "ow" I've been non stop bleeding for 2 weeks and idk what to do. I wanna cry. I missed work today and I can't middle any more but I really don't know what to do :'c

I don't know if this will go anywhere but thought I'd try. I was looking for a group about people's experiences with different birth control. I’ve been on the depo shot but recently my hubby and I moved out of state so trying to get in with my dr hasn’t been the easiest. However I was told about an OTC birth control pill called opill and I’m considering switching to it but before (years ago) I was horrible at taking a pill. Just wanting pros / cons with opill if anyone has used it (:

I got the Mirena IUD put in just over a month ago….I am 6 months pp. I am breastfeeding so have not had a period yet since having my baby. However, since getting the IUD I’m having regular spotting…some weeks it’s been worse than others but I’m spotting on and off pretty much 4-5 days out of the week. It’s frustrating cuz I never know when it will happen, and so I either have to wear a pad 24/7 or risk ruining underwear…I have looked at period underwear. And also it’s started to affect my sex life as I feel uncomfortable having sex when bleeding…so my question (thank you if you’re still here) has anyone else experienced frequent spotting after getting the IUD? If so, did your body eventually adjust and the bleeding lessened or stopped? If it is always going to be like this I am seriously considering removing it. TIA!
