Baby digestion

how do i know for sure if my baby has oral thrush?

my 7 month old has always had the like milk residue on her tongue and she is breastfed. she’s been on solids for a couple months now and is now starting to actually intake some food instead of spitting it out. this morning after her breakfast (apple puree and frozen raspberries in a mesh feeder) i noticed her tongue was like yellow and i tried wiping it with a damp cloth but it didn’t really go away. she seems completely fine she’s eating and breastfeeding as normal she doesn’t seem like she’s in any pain and there’s no other parts of her mouth that have it. i don’t think it’s thrush but the internet is making me stress about it. is it normal for milk residue to not wipe off sometimes? or is it always meant to wipe off easily? also could it just be stained from her solids??

Baby sleep

probably dumb ftm question.

my daughter is 6 months next week. she’s started doing this thing at bed time and sometimes in the middle of the night where she fights sleep and like aggressively thrash’s her legs and bottom half around like in the video, sometimes even more aggressively and she’ll start to get mad sometimes aswell. is she just fighting sleep and using her legs because she knows how to now? she has her 2 bottom teeth and i think she’s got her next coming in so maybe is it all just her way of showing discomfort? because i know lifting legs can be discomfort sign like from gas or something also. she seems ok otherwise and she will usually eventually calm down and feed to sleep. i feel like i know it’s normal and i just kind of need to talk about it because i stress about everything she does and no one ever gets that they just say i’m overthinking it. please tell me someone relates 😭 i worry about literally everything and that something is wrong when she learns new things

Breastfeeding

Breast refusal

Anyone dealing with breast refusal at the moment? 3 months bub has been mixed fed since birth (bottle & breastfeeding). In the past 2 weeks, bub has been refused to latch on breast, sometimes he would latch for a couple minutes, unlatch and cries. Today he unlatched and cried when I had my initial letdown. So I don’t think it’s a milk flow issue, or is it? The only way to breastfeed at the moment is after his gets 50% - 70% of his milk quota via bottle, then he would latch and I can breastfeed him a bit more.

Hey May Mummas & Bubs 🩶

I’m a 23yr old FTM from Narrandera NSW (near Wagga Wagga, if you haven’t heard of it 😅) to a beautiful little girl named Ari who is currently 10wks old. 🩷

Looking forward to connecting with other mums during this new season 🫶

Posting a picture of her little hands as we have decided to keep our little girls face off the internet completely x
