Education

Kids in y1 want to go to another school as it feeds into the high school we want.

Can you give that as a reason ?

London based currently in a school in Harrow but want to transfer to a school in Brent.

When we were picking schools originally we picked the school with the head teacher we gelled with her out of all the schools we toured as our street is in Harrow but on the boarder of Brent. Now realised that the high school connected to our school isn’t the one we want.

Any primary school teachers or support staff that are familiar with this type of scenario ?

Thanks in advance

Pregnancy symptoms

Water infections

Has anyone’s little ones ever had a water infection before? My little boy is 5 6 in July and bless him he keeps having to go for a wee every 5 minutes and barely weeing but obviously having the feeling he really needs to!

Obviously this is how I’ve felt when I’ve had them previously but he says it doesn’t hurt or sting when he has a wee! I’ve given him a cup of cranberry juice before bed but will the doctors prescribe anything or shall we just try get him to flush it out himself!

I’m heartbroken for him bless him😒

Other

iPads

Anyone got any advice on iPads please? Santa brought my son (5yo) one for Christmas and I swear I feel like I have lost my son to a screen as he just wants to be on it 24/7. He used to love board games, going to the park, all sorts, and now when I ask him if he wants to do any of those things he says no my iPad is more fun etc. I have tried limiting the time he has on it but it’s just ending in tears, I’ve tried calmly talking to him even saying that I miss him as we don’t play together anymore because he just wants his iPad and he’s just not bothered. He wants it as soon as he wakes up on a morning (which I do say he is allowed it after he’s dressed, teeth brushed etc until we go to school, so say for like 20 mins or whatever) but then as soon as I pick him up from school he is in the car saying he can’t wait to play his iPad when he gets home.

I just feel like he’s consumed by it… any advice please ❀️

Hi all, my 5yo son James was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes just over a year ago and we’d love to make friends with other T1D families in the Walworth/SE17 area
