Naps changing!

My little one normally naps twice a day, the routine we were in was brilliant but it’s changing now, I think as she dosent want to go down for naps at all just keeps crying. Do I need to consider just one long nap a day now as she’s getting older.

Breastfeeding

My baby is due to start Daycare in 7 weeks at 10 months old. She still is exclusively breastfed throughout the day and will not take a bottle. I have only left her with her father for half an hour since she was born. Will she be ready?

We have no family close, so it’s been me 24/7. I am very overwhelmed with going back to work full time and she will be in day care 0730-1830. It’s such a long day for her. Has anyone got the same experience?

Looking for help with my 8 month old’s routine

Hi, looking for some help! I’m struggling with my 8 month old’s sleep. He is breastfed and used to wake around twice a night for feeds but has been waking up to around 8 times most nights for the past 6 weeks.

This is his current schedule:

6.00/6.30 - Wake

3 hr wake window

9.15 - Nap (1 hour)

10.15 - I wake him up

3 hr 45 min wake window

14.00 - Nap (1.5 hours)

15.30 - I wake him up

4 hr 30 min wake window

20.00 - Bed

I usually wake him from his naps as I don’t want him having too much daytime sleep. I’ve been told I should build the sleep pressure before bed, particularly as he’s an early riser.

Are his wake windows okay? Should I be waking him from his daytime naps? Did I drop the third nap too early? Is this a scheduling issue or just down to development? He’s currently crawling, pulling himself up, babbling etc.

Would love to hear advice and suggestions! Thank you!

Self settling for naps

My little girl has always fed or been bounced to sleep. She will fall asleep in the car if tired enough or in the carrier as long as it's quiet around her. She doesn't self settle otherwise and I'm finding ithe naps/nights so draining. I don't know if anyone is or has been in the same boat? Did you sleep train?

Naps

Are any other babies still having quite afew naps during the day? I’m trying to extend my little boys wake windows as he’s waking up 1/2 times in the night but he just can’t deal with it he’ll literally just fall asleep on the floor after awhile 😂 It’s 3pm he was up at 8:30 and has just gone down for his 3rd nap. 1st was about 30/40 mins 2nd was about an hour if not more and now he’s having this one. He seems to only manage 2/3 hours unless we’re out doing something for him! He will probably squeeze in another nap before he goes to sleep at 8/9 so he’ll it had 4 naps today!
