I see a lot of moms in here saying they want other mom friends, and I love that because same 🫶🏽

But in my experience, a lot of the time when I actually connect with moms who say that, there’s no follow through. Communication is inconsistent, no one is really proactive about planning playdates, and the friendship just doesn’t get the chance to grow.

I get it, making friends as adults can feel a little awkward. But I’m not a man and I’m not pursuing you 😭 this is a two way street. Friendships take effort from both sides.

I’m all for building real connections, but it has to be mutual.

Hi everyone! I’m currently looking into becoming a foster parent here in Las Vegas and would love to hear from anyone who has experience with fostering locally.

What has your experience been like? Are there any tips, things you wish you knew beforehand, or advice you’d give someone just starting the process?

Any moms with older kids? I have a 9 year old and I run into a lot of moms with younger kids. Don’t get me wrong, i love all yall but it would be nice to find a friend for me AND a friend for my son. Bonus points if you have a man, my bf could use some friends too 😂
