I wholeheartedly want to move to Charlotte, NC, but I’m going to be completely honest… I’m a little scared. 🥹❤️

I don’t know anyone in Charlotte, and I honestly don’t know much about the city either. So before I make this big move, I would LOVE for some Charlotte locals to drop anything you think I should know! 🫶🏽

What areas are good for families? What areas should I avoid? Affordable apartments? Daycares? Schools? Parks? Things to do with little ones? Good jobs? Mommy groups? Literally ANYTHING you think would be helpful for a mom moving to Charlotte, please tell me! 😭💕 I’m open to all advice, tips, recommendations, and even things you wish someone had told you before moving there.

And to all my Charlotte mommas… I’m a little nervous about moving so far away by myself and starting over without knowing anybody. 🥺 So if anybody is willing to become friends, I would genuinely love that! I don’t want my babies and I to feel completely alone once we get there. ❤️

I have a 1-year-old, 2-year-old, 3-year-old, and I’ll have a 5-month-old come Monday. 🥹💕 So if you have little ones too, even better! We can do playdates, park days, lunch dates, library days, explore Charlotte together, or just build a genuine friendship and support system. 🥰

I’m really hoping Charlotte can be a fresh start for me and my babies, and I would love to build a little village along the way. 🫶🏽

This mama needs some help!! Hi mamas! I’m currently a Dental Hygiene student at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC), and I’m looking for an adult (18+) volunteer patient to participate in an upcoming patient assessment at the CPCC Dental Hygiene Clinic.

📅 Available dates: Thursday September 24, 2026 ⏰ Appointment length: Approximately 3 hours 💰 Cost: FREE! I know 3 hours is a long time, lunch is on me :)

This appointment is part of our clinical training, so there is no charge and no teeth cleaning will be performed. We are still in the assessment and training phase.

During the appointment, I will perform: • Unit preparation • Medical and dental history review • Vital signs • Oral inspection • Oral health risk assessment • Personalized oral hygiene education/information

The appointment is supervised as part of the CPCC Dental Hygiene program, and your participation would help me tremendously as I complete my clinical requirements.
