This tattoo is almost 12 years old old, yes TWELVE. Out of nowhere it started getting itchy and it’s super inflamed. What could this be?

Hi ladies hope you're all well! Anyways I'm booked in tomorrow for a face tattoo... nothing major just a nice little tat closer to my ear/ edge of cheek bone, I'm so worried what people will think but then again I've never been known to fit into the norm! I've had every bizarre piercing you could think of and are tattooed including hands, do you think the face is off limits or? I'm just thinking just because I'm a mom I shouldn't be having 'extreme' tats... thoughts?
