Plagiocephaly/Brachycephaly/Scaphocephaly/Torticollis Awareness and Support

Has anyone followed through with a second band? I’m feeling sad of how long this process is taking when I feel like his asymmetry is mild. I feel like cranial tech will always advocate for a helmet as the only solution. What are your thoughts? This is what my baby’s head looks like right now. Its definitely not perfect but it is not severe.

Hi everyone, I’m 30 weeks pregnant and had an ultrasound and an internal exam yesterday. The doctor said that overall growth is perfect for 30+0, but the head measurements have really worried me. The CI was 99%, and the head seems a bit small for her gestational age. The doctor didn’t say anything specific, but it could indicate brachycephaly.

I’ve been feeling very anxious since then and can’t stop thinking about it.

Has anyone had similar experiences or had a baby with these kinds of head measurements? I’m based in the UK

Hi everyone, twins born 32+6 in May. So 2 months old but adjusted age is 2 weeks. One of my boys needs to get a helmet as it’s flat on his right side. Was just told today at his 2 month appt. I didn’t realize how fast it can happen though since we didn’t notice it at his doctors appt 2 weeks ago. Getting fitted for the helmet on Monday. I feel like such a failure for letting this happen. I have a 2 year old as well and I just feel so split. Doctor told me to roll a blanket up under his back/head so he doesn’t lay on the right side. Any tips to use while we wait to get him fitted for the helmet /tips for when we get the helmet are appreciated.

What are the recommendations? Baby is 3 months old.

Hi all, my baby girl seems to have plagiocephaly (from googling) and I’ve expressed concerns to friends/family who say it’ll get better as she gets older, but she’s 10.5 months now and this is a pic of what it looks like. It still looks pretty bad to me, but keen to hear opinions from you. Any of your bubbas had it to this extent and it gone without any intervention? TIA!
