Is it me or is real school a lot to keep up with lol ?? I love my son’s kindergarten so far they have a lot of upcoming events I joined the pto my but they’re sending me SEVERAL emails a day I can not keep up I’ve missed a fundraiser already and on the verge of missing another opportunity it is a lot lol on top of making sure my kiddo is on track with things ! I’m a working mom though and his new school is truly making me wish I wasn’t so I could really tap into everything !

Im not sure what to do. My daughter starts kindergarten in a week. She is very advanced (reads, adds, subtracts, multiplies by 2 and 3, counts by 2, 3, 5, and 10, knows way too much about planets and space). She is going to be bored. She was in Pre-K last year but it was half day and it was play based. I was the para in there and so when she finished her work I could give her more advanced stuff. Not all teachers are that way though. I want her challenged and don't want her acting out because she's bored or finds school not fun because she's bored and doesn't like going. I would ask about gifted but my sister is a teacher (not at this school) and said most schools don't test until 1st grade. But if this is her full first experience of school with no challenge for her it's gonna be a long year. Any advice?

I’m honestly curious if anything else is battling this? About a year ago my son started having night terrors and will sleep walk most nights. He talks of monsters and having to kill these creatures. We have tried everything and now just manage it best we can. We don’t all him to watch anything that could even be remotely scary and we are cautious of what he eats as well. Idk if it’s stress so we really try to wind him down at night and make sure it’s peaceful before bed.

Anyone else’s kid completely lose it over a stuffy nose?

My 5 years old had nasal congestion last night with no fever, but he was so clingy and kept crying because he couldn’t breathe comfortably through his nose. Neither of us got much sleep. I’m exhausted today!

What do you all do for nighttime nose congestion? Humidifier? Saline spray? Steam shower? Any tips that actually help?

Please tell me I’m not the only mom who’s been up all night because of a stuffed-up little one. ❤️

Had anyone else's 5 yr old lost a tooth? Did u wait til it fell or if it was way loose pull it ?
