Hey mamas, I’m new here and wanted to introduce myself. Hi I’m Rose I’m a mom of 4 in Virginia and I make cozy dessert candles and café-inspired soaps from home. I’ve been slowly building my little brand, ‘Morning Café,’ with scents like Royal Coffee House (coffee bar with shea butter + goat milk) and dessert-style candles.

I’d love to connect with other artsy or crafty moms, see what you’re working on, and share some of my pieces too. If you run a small handmade biz, drop your favorite thing you’ve made lately.

What websites do you all use to sell products other than Etsy?

Recently I got back into making clothes for my little girl and have been making a lot of dresses, two pieces, shorts, skirts, tops, dungarees etc

Lots of family and friends have told me I should start selling them and I even had someone ask me to make a dress and they bought it! I’m wondering if that’s just a one off thing or people would really buy these? I’ve always thought about it but thought it would flunk, I really love making it all so know it would be nice to do and a little extra something to put back for my little girl. Just a new mummy trying to grow my little side hustle with the dream of eventually being able to stay home with my little one, so I’m working really hard to build a community around my art. I paint anything from wedding venues, to houses to pet portraits and take on commissions via DM or Etsy!
