Heyyy, I had an emergency cerclage fitted few days ago at 22 weeks pregnant as i dilated to 1cm. I have a follow up appointment in a week’s time. I just wanted to know if other people have just had the 1 follow up appointment or a few? and if so what it covers. Feel free to message me or reply to on 🫶🏼

So I’m planning to get an elective c section at 38/39 weeks but I have this massive fear of going into labour whilst my stitch is in place. Does anyone have any experience of this or thoughts?

I just had my cerclage placed this afternoon and now that i’m home I had to pee but it burned so bad. Is this normal? I didn’t think to ask my doctor as I had no pain earlier in the hospital but I should mention when I got up to pee then I was still a bit numb from the spinal. Should I be worried?
