Ferber Method

My LO is 9 months old and his sleep is terrible!!! We’re lucky if we get a couple hours combined. I’ve decided that we’re going to try the Ferber Method as I’m really at my wits end and have tried EVERYTHING. I’ve always been really reluctant to do it and I’m going to find it really difficult.

Would love to hear anyone’s positive experiences to help give me the extra confidence!

Please only positive. I’m well aware of the negatives, I just feel like I’m out of options

Pick up / put down method

Has anyone used this method? How long did it take for your little ones to learn to fall asleep by themselves? And how long before you noticed a difference ?

I want to try it but worried it will lead to more waking than now. She’s currently rocked to sleep.

5 week old sleep schedule?

My baby is five weeks old now and we have been getting 1 to 2 hours of sleep every night for the last five weeks. I am hoping that someone can advise me with a sample sleep schedule or something that can get my baby to get longer stretches of sleep at night. We breastfeed every 2 hours throughout the day. Pretty much at night too

Early morning wakings??

Hi! My son has been consistently waking up at 5 am since he was 3.5 months old. He’s now nearly 7 months. Sometimes he’ll even wake up earlier, like 4/430 (this morning was a 445 day) and then occasionally I’ll get a 6 am wake up which feels so nice😂

I put him to bed between 6 pm and 730 pm depending on when his last nap ends, but he’s transitioning to 2 naps so I feel like his last wake window before bed is way too long…..sometimes 5 hours but he won’t take a 3rd little nap before bed if I try (that’s why I put him to bed at 6 a lot).

Rough schedule majority of the time is this:

5 am wake up Usually first nap will be around 730 and he’ll sleep for an hour and a half Awake from 9 to 12 Next nap will end around 130 And then I’ll try to get him another nap around 430 but he usually refuses it So bedtime at 6

This shifts depending on when my son wakes up and how long naps are Any tips or advice would be really appreciated. He actually sleeps through the night but he really thinks it is morning soooooo early.

And I try to leave the lights off and not feed him straight away and he’s fine with it for a bit and then he’ll start to cry cause he’s hungry and wants to get up.

18months old Boy- not sleeping through the night

My 18 month old is still not sleeping through the night. He goes to bed on his own and I sit beside him. But he wakes 3-4 times a night and takes bottle each time to sleep. Please help! My husband and I are exhausted.
