How to teach speech better

My son is 16 months and only says two words, usually he just babbles and points at things, I tell him the names for things all the time and he copies my tone but doesn't try to sound out words. Is there anything I can do to help him or is he just too young to worry about it?

4 year old tantrums

Hello everyone! I am having a real challenge with a 4yo daughter and her tantrums. For background, I am a single mum, with a boyfriend (we do not live together). She sees her dad on and off at the moment as he has had a baby with his new partner.

The anger has worsened in the last few weeks, and she will now outwardly punch and scream tantrums anywhere. I try my best to ground things and try and calm the situation but it seems to be getting worse. Within this, she has started to call me stupid, lazy, greedy, and this is apparently what her dad is saying to her about me when she is there.

Does anyone have any advice on this - or has anyone gone through similar?

Thank you ♥️

Struggling to keep on top of things

How do you all keep on top of chores and errands?

I feel awful when having to tidy up when my little one is awake (16 months old). I feel so guilty cos I feel like I need to give her my 100% undivided attention all the time because it may sever our bond or hinder her development. When I say guilty I mean overwhelming feeling of guilt so it stops me tidying so much and I live in a house of 3 people so there is always tidying to do everyday whether it be hoovering, cleaning the kitchen, doing a washing load, tidying away toys.

I find it so difficult to keep on top of things it’s impacting my relationship with my family because they see me as lazy and it frustrates me that I can’t tidy up.

How long can I leave my child to play independently each day?

Advice with 2 under 2👶🏼

Hi mummys! So i have 2 under 2 a 20 month old little boy and a 7 month old little girl. My little boy adores his little sister and is amazing with her when I’m around but any time I turn my back for one second or even go in to the next room ( I can still see them clearly ) he hits her and nips her has anyone had this happen? Hes not jealous as I give them both the same amount of attention and as I stated he’s fine when I’m around I’m just so worried he’s going to continue to be horrible to her. He also takes everything from her wether it be toys she’s messing with or her bottle or her dummy sometimes even just things she’s holding and cries when she takes something of his I don’t know how to resolve this does anyone have advice. Thank you!🩵👶🏼🩷👶🏼

1 year old refusing to eat

Hi everyone, i need some advice . My 1 year old girl refusing to eat anything except fruit yogurt, cheese sticks or garden peas. When she was younger i used to give her purée of meat and veggies, she liked it. Anything i am trying to feed her with spoon she refuses straight the way doesnt even taste it, however even i let her to mess around and eat herself she barely put anything in the mouth. I am afraid she will start loosing weight or wont get enough nutrition. In this case i am delying and still giving her baby formula 2-3 times a day, as she dont like milk either. Does anyone else has this problem? Any advice? Thank you !
