Tummy bug?

My LO is very tired, off his food, very clingy/crying a LOT more than usual, and when I pick him up he whimpers like he’s in pain. He’s also a lot more gassy? For context, he is on laxatives as he struggles with constipation but has been on them for months now so these are all new symptoms. Anyone else’s LO had symptoms similar and found out what it was? So hard when they can’t communicate with you what’s wrong

Baby sleep

Suggestions please!

My little boy, 16 months, has always been tricky for months now to have his nappy changed but it’s actually impossible now without two of you if it’s a dirty nappy (wet ones I change him standing up and use pull ups). The only thing that will entertain him without one person holding him down is the phone which I don’t use any other time and really don’t want to use it for this either. He literally will not lie down and gets incredibly upset etc please help with suggestions that don’t involve the phone, I’m at my wits end!! X

Common illness

Cough causing sick

My little boy seems to always have some kind of cough since starting nursery. Sometimes it gets better and then he gets sniffly again and it worsens.

It sounds like he has a lot of phlegm on his chest.

He was sick at 5.30am and 6.30am on Thursday morning, both times it was after he had been coughing. He threw up some water shortly after but then was absolutely fine for the rest of the day and eating as normal. Friday he was ok, just one loose poo. Saturday totally normal in eating and no poo or sick. Then this morning he was sick again at 5am after coughing, and then a loose poo a few hours later.

It doesn’t feel like your standard viral sickness bug as it wasn’t much sick at all and then he was fine for a few days! I’m wondering if it’s the cough and phlegm contributing

Has anyone else experience something like this? I’m taking him to the doctors this week but wondering if anyone has any idea in the meantime?

Speech?

Went through a rabbit whole of looking at videos of my first born who was th exact age of my current 16 month old and the difference in speech is insane! My first born was saying lots and lots of words whereas my 16 month old has only said about 3 words? Is it too early to worry about potential speech delay? I know you shouldn’t compare 2 children as they reach milestones at different times but the difference was honestly insane!
