Hes driving me absolutely fucking bananas.

My 3 year old has just started pre school. He has never been to a setting before so he’s completely overwhelmed and crying each day, which I did expect. He’s attached himself to 1 of the teaching assistants and is following her around and wanting to only be with her (I think she must be his safe person) I went to collect him the other day and said ‘he needs to learn that Mrs Wright isn’t just his teacher’ And saying things like yep he’s just following her around. Maybe I’m being sensitive but I think why don’t they understand he’s new to this

What are your tried + tested strollers for your June babies? Looking for comfy, compact when folded & one that doesn’t cause slouching!

My June 2023 toddler stopped napping about a month ago and weekends are soooooo tough. On week days she’s also very grumpy after nursery as she’s clearly exhausted. I don’t know why she’s dropped her naps, I don’t think she was ready -and I certainly wasn’t!

We started toilet training in January this year when our son was 2.5 years old. We are now 8/9 months in and we are still having wee and poo accidents near enough every day. We have tried everything I can absolutely think of and I don’t know what more I can do.

I have spoken to the health visitors, his nursery for any advice but nothing has worked. He knows when he has had an accident (not always) but it doesn’t seem to click for him that feeling of needing to go or telling us when he needs to go. It is incredibly discouraging and when we take him to the toilet he gets upset. We don’t put pressure on him because it puts him off but we make the toilet accessible and available to him always.

I am just really at a loss of what to do and I am not putting him back in nappies because that’s moving backwards. I just can’t think of what to do apart from hope that it’ll just click for him one day and it concerns me when he is ideally supposed to be starting school next September but if he isn’t ready toilet wise, I don’t feel I can send him to school until he has mastered it.
