So my son, 16 months old, has decided to chew on his crib, eating the paint and whatever the crib is made of. Should I just go ahead and transition him to a toddler bed? I’m lost and confused lol

It started out so small like a little pimple and I left it alone, putting aquaphor on it, now it’s so big and it looks painful. It doesn’t even seem to bother him, he doesn’t notice it. Does anyone know what this is or what I can do to make it go away ?
