Hi there! We got lucky and had cousins and friends that had kids not long after so nothing went to waste. I’d say that the seasons are the hardest to keep up with but we tried on most of his clothes the next size up and put them in order of size. Some 3-6 fit more like a 3 and others more like a 6. We also tried not to reuse an outfit until we’d gone through everything else in his size to get the most use. Didn’t always work but it helped. ☺️
It really just depends on if they fit or not. My son was born bigger than we expected he weighed 9 lbs, but something told me not to get too much newborn clothes and focus on 0-3 months instead. The newborn fit him kinda big at first but then he caught up. Fast forward now, he’s 4 months and barely fits in 3-6 months. So we are pulling for mostly 6 months. If it still fits out her in it, but once it doesn’t then try to give them to someone who needs them. My neighbor has a son a few months older than me so she just gives me his clothes he never wore. Hope this helps
Thanks... its just difficult. I finally wore the last "before we move on she has to wear this" outfit... so maybe I'll staft shuffling the sizes.
Definitely remember that the baby clothes are not always true to size. I found that I would eyeball clothes that are for the next size up and they would fit my son just like the ones for his age. I just try to make sure that I am checking clothes sizes regularly and shuffling new clothes in periodically

It depends on the cut , and the baby lol my son is almost 8 months and already in 12 months , he’s not even a big chunky boy he’s just tall as can be . Some 9 months fit him but rarely haha. I agree with the other comments and kinda just eyeball it , if it’s alittle big that’s okay she will grow into it .
Oh jeez...
