Reflux???!!!!

Has anyone experienced reflux with their baby if so how have you eased it for them my 2 and a half month old is barely taking a bottle this stage and waking every hour he use to sleep between 4-6 hours I’ve tried everything the doctor gave me infant gavisgon which doesn’t seem to be working either in fact he’s drinking less since I’ve started him onit.. We are absolutely exhausted 😔 If anyone has any recommendations or advice it would be highly appreciated… Thank you ❤️

Hi, Infacol helped my baby sometimes but he still throws up after every feed. I am exclusively breastfeeding. I hope he grows out of it soon 🙏🏻

Hi Niamh , I had the same issue with my little boy . Did the whole gavisgon and infacol thing and didn’t work . I ended up putting him on goats milk formula and slowing down his feed as he tends to gulp . It hasn’t completely solved the problem but much better . He’s four months now and we are less exhausted ! Went through the silent reflux thing and honestly only thing that's helped is losec prescription and holding him upright after feeds. He got to the stage of not eating we went to crumlin hospital and he was put on double the amount the GP wanted him on. Reflux is a nightmare, here if you need to yap! xx

Hey ladies thanks for your advice in the end he ended up having a cows milk protein allergy it took till he was 5 months old for them to figure out and they only diagnosed him with it when he ended up in hospital for 5 weeks with meningitis but he’s okay now thank god 😊
