Do you have Montessori spaces in your home?

If so what spaces are aligned with Montessori principles and how do they support your goals with your children? If not, which space would you like to design in the Montessori approach most and why?

I’ve set up a playroom with a teepee and reading area, a sensory table, a play kitchen and shelves which I do toy and activity rotation on and we’re planning on getting an ikea play kitchen for the kitchen and making into a fully functional kitchen x

That's awesome Lucy-May! Which area does your children use the most? And how old are they?

He loves the shelves but he mainly plays with his kitchen and he’s just turned 1 x

I’m just about to make my home more accessible for my baby as she is almost crawling and we will me moving her to her own room soon. I’m planning to get a learning tower for the kitchen and an ikea kitchen to make it functional. Her room would have a floor bed, a reading corner, a eye sight shelf with some toys and a mirror with a bar attached to the wall and accessible wardrobe. She just have a play area in our living room at the moment that is a mat with a little basket with a few toys. I’m so exited to make a few changes and see her doing so many new things!!

Thanks for sharing Noella. How is she sleeping right now?

We have been and still are co sleeping and about to move her to a floor bed this week
