Yep, if you have an anterior placenta, you might not feel a lot of movement. I didn't really feel any movement with my first other than a steady elbow in my ribs. My second was doing somersaults, though, and I finally understood what people were talking about with the flutters. I remember worrying a lot with my first too without that extra reassurance, but my son was perfectly healthy.
This is normal, don’t worry - just make sure to keep up with the doctor appointments. I experienced the same. I had an anterior placenta and didn’t feel baby’s kick until later half of third trimester.
