Other children around my baby
Hey,
Me and my partner never argue, only rarely bicker. We get along like a house on fire. But since the baby has been born I’ve been so scared about people being near my son, especially kids.
My partner has a daughter already and she comes on the weekends and plays with the girl across the road. I’ve asked my boyfriend multiple times to keep the girl across the road out of the house. But she keeps coming in and my boyfriend says nothing to her then kicks off at me saying I’m out of order and she just wants to see the baby.
My LO is only 1 week old. Am I that much of an awful person to not want random kids around my son? X

Oh my gosh no. I wouldn’t want that either! At one week I’d still be wary of adults never mind children 😅 It’s not just the germs but needing rest in general. I’d definitely recommend playing at the other girls house for a bit, depending on the age maybe ask which toys she wants to take with her, or buy some cheap activities they can do together? X
Thank you both. His daughter who is 6 understood more than him 😂😂 he apologised though. He’s been running around doing everything for me after a horrible birth experience so I think he’s tired and genuinely appreciate him. Just wanted my wishes to be respected. His daughter is currently at the other girls house 🥰xxx

I wouldn’t want random kids in the house either, so I’m with you. Perhaps tell your step daughter to play at the other girls house instead until he’s bigger or he could get poorly from the germs x
