Any bilirubin warriors?

Hey yall! My name is Gillian and my little one Theodore is battling spiking bilirubin levels. He had to begin treatment with light therapy when he was 4 days old. We got to take him home after a few days in the nicu and his levels bounced right back up. Has this happened to anyone else before?

Yes happened to my son his levels continued to spike for about 2 weeks. Try putting him in the sun but not directly in the sun if that makes sense but uv helps a lot

Yup! He loved his "tanning" bed. Lounging like a superhero lizard lol

Wow. All of you mommas are so strong! I was completely breaking down watching them hook Theo up to all the machines. We are 9 days old and have a bilirubin level of 14.6. Still pretty yellow after treatment. Hoping the numbers calm down as the doctor was hoping for.
