HRT oestrogen dose equivalents...

Hello M-bracers 🙂 We use this chart as a reference *A LOT* here in our lovely corner Peanut. It's an extract from a Women's Health Concern (part of the British Menopause Society) document, so you know it's evidence-based. Please note the little bit at the bottom of the image: just because one product/dose works for one person, it doesn't automatically mean the same product/dose will do the same for you... Each person can react to products differently, so it's a case of being consistent and patient with new products and doses if you are just starting out on HRT, and if you make any adjustments to your HRT. 🙂🩷

I'm on 2.0mg oral it's pants doing nothing for me

@Sheila- hello 🙂 When's your doctor's appointment?

Hi Sharon 4th sept

@Sheila - and do you have any ideas as to what changes you'd like to make? Have you already tried transdermal HRT?

Had patches before done mind them but need high dose

@Sheila you may find that you absorb gel more effectively, if you've already tried patches. Oestrogel is the most often prescribed...

...I'd discuss starting on three pumps as you're not finding your 2mg oral oestrogen is doing the trick. Are you using/do you need progesterone?

I'm on femoston 2mg that has Estradiol and dydrogesterone. With the hair I'm growing and losing, hot sweats are constant, constantly knackered, forgetting stuff and pain in hips lower back and feel heavy this menopause is the pits. Be better off out my misery

@Sheila - as I say, trying a different type of HRT may well bring better results. 🩷
