Persistent painful diaper rash

My 2 year old daughter has been struggling with a persistent, painful diaper rash now for several weeks. Since she's been a baby, we've never had such bad rashes before and are really struggling to get rid of it. We've tried keeping her diaper off whenever we can (which improves it, along with zinc diaper cream / vaseline), but as soon as we take her back to daycare again with her diaper on the rash comes back. We've used antibiotic cream, and still there. Has anyone experienced this and if so, what did you do / what was the cause? Thank you so much for your feedback and suggestions!

My daughter had this when she was younger. Fusidin was used to get it under control, then 40 percent zinc only at every diaper change. I’m not sure what caused hers, I think possibly food sensitivity to acidic fruit

I recommend this love trust me it works my baby was the same and they got this for me you have to mix them and put it on him 2 times a day hope that I helped I hope it gets better 💙

My babe is the same. Not sure what the cause is, but I've been using Desitin every diaper change for the last week and it's finally healing. It's also 40% zinc, maximum strength.

Thank you! Will give those a go!

I recommend you to use coconut oil as a first option, it really works! As a second option you can use Aquaphor
