@Karen thank you. This had put my mind at ease. I’ll start tonight 🥰
Definitely go for it, unfortunately it can take a long time for some people to fall pregnant so you could be holding off doing something that could bring you enjoyment and and help you. X
@Tiff thank you. I went for a run tonight. Absolutely hated it but always do the first few. Glad I’ve been now though. Thanks ladies. xx
It is important to work out but you need to understand your cycle while working out. There are times in your cycle where you shouldn't focus on heavy weights and times where you shouldn't focus on cardio. A lot of women are not aware of how to optimize working out for their cycle for healthy fertility.
@Mya thanks. I’m actually 25 weeks pregnant now so I’ve eased off a lot.
My doctor told me that the best thing you can do for yourself before you get pregnant is to be physically and mentally well and strong. It will help with your pregnancy and with recovery after. Absolutely start running again! It will do wonders for your overall well-being. I just started again too after a long break and I’m honestly feeling more like myself than I have in a long time. The only activity you should be concerned about is if you begin a brand new exercise regime that you haven’t done before and you are already pregnant (like running a marathon, or weight lifting)
