I don't know where you're located, but I took my daughter to EarlyOn centres. It's a free drop in program that parents can take their kids to. The facility is essentially set up like a classroom for kids and it's has lots of activities for parents and kids to play together. It was a great way for my daughter to start interacting with the other toddlers that came in. It's could be a good start for your little one.
@Kathryn I’ll look into the Early On centres that Chante suggested that I can take her to a few times a week! Just want to be around kids more her own age so the transition goes smooth when she starts school next year. Yeah it’s definitely a win/win or lose/lose situation just having a lot of mom guilt at the moment but thank you for the reassurance! I try to play with her and do as much activities with her at home but having someone to play with her own age is good for her socially
@Chante I’m located in Mississauga near sq 1 and I will look into the Early ON centres cause that sounds perfect to me! Thank you so much ❤️
No problem at all! 💕 Some of them close around 2pm so this is definitely an earlier thing. I'm in Mississauga to! I think there's one in the square one area on Kariya Drive. Here the website for more info: https://familydaycare.com/programs/earlyon-centre-support-families/
Is there playgroups or something similar on your area? Where I am, there is a resource centre that does drop in playtimes with crafts and snacks roughly twice a week. Something like that might be good to take her too! Also, don’t feel like you made the wrong choice! Keeping them home at a young age is nice for lots of reason just as much as daycare and preschool are good for lots of reasons. But they both have cons too. So it’s ultimately a win/win, lose/lose regardless lol. Parenting often makes you feel like there is no right choice, but sometimes there really isn’t
