Subchorionic Hemorrhage

I went into the ED for bleeding scare this morning. Nothing heavy but had to change my liner a few times. Ultrasound still found the heartbeat and sac and measuring around 6w3d. They said it was a subchorionic hemorrhage.. and can be at risk for a miscarriage given it’s happening this early on. Anyone been through this? Does the bleeding go away? How long does it last. I can’t help but be on edge and anxious since I’ve had 2 miscarriages before😢😔

Hi! Yes I had the same happen to me at seven weeks. It was terrifying and I had a TON OF BLOOD. It did get is a referal to a maternal fetal specialist but just know I am laying here with my sweet angel right now at almost 6 months old. Pregnancy and delivery was fine!!! Just bed rest, drink fluids! And every one will tell you not to stress but that’s impossible, hugs

Thank you so much for this reassurance!! 🙏🏽🤍

@Robyn I believe this is what they told me I had at the beginning of this pregnancy. I went in at 5w 5d thinking I was around 6w and some days. They gave me a RhoGam shot since I’m Rh negative and they said there is nothing else they could do. They put me on what they call pelvic rest (no strenuous activity, and no sexual activity). I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and baby is definitely healthy and even measuring a week ahead! This is such a blessing and I hope that it gives you some hope too! ❤️

What a blessing. I’m so glad to hear that. It definitely helps uplift my spirits reading your guys stories. 🤍🙏🏽
