Laser hair removal?

So I have PCOS and have unwanted hair but I was considering laser hair removal. Anyone know if it’s worth doing?

I’m sure because it’s hormonal the laser hair won’t fully get rid of it or stop the hair growth! Don’t quote me on it but I’m pretty sure, you maybe better off regulating your hormones with like inositol 😊 x

@Sophie thank you! I only just heard about inositol, have you tried it? X

I wanna try electrolysis I heard it's better than laser

Yeah I take inofolic have done for like 3 years now I’d say, i wanted to get pregnant so did a few things like lost a weight took the inofolic, I’m not sure if that’s what helped me get pregnant or if it was the weight loss or the tracking my periods 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I defo feel like it helped regulate my cycle and hormones 😊 xxx

Ugh I did this and honestly wasted so much money because it is hormonal you have to address that and it can be reduced and resolved. What’s happening are the androgens(testosterone) being released by the kidney imbalance and stress. I messed up my hormones years ago after stress really caught up with my I was caught up in toxic relationships, addictions and my own trauma and wasn’t sleeping or eating regularly or properly and the result was basically a little beard. Since balancing my hormones over the last few years and addressing my own pCOS symptoms it has gotten soo much better! Probably half as much. So start eating regularly with protein and good fats at each meal and low glycemic carbs. Also eating regularly helps the kidneys and adrenals feel less stressed. You can also do an adrenal cocktail to nourish them as well as focusing on kidney nourishing foods. Peppermint tea is supposed to help as well! Obvs talk to your care provider ideally as this is just for information.
