Worked great for me, my son’s cradle cap GONE!
My son had it really bad. I switched him to head and shoulders. We haven’t had an issue since.
I used olive oil. Particularly from boots daily. Worked wonders
cosmetologist and braider here- please do not use coconut oil!!! it is too large of a molecule to be absorbed by the skin or hair. it sits on the surface and draws in impurities. which in turn lead to clogged hair follicles and pores bc coconut oil is comedogenic. use grapeseed oil instead. it is a much smaller molecule. very easily absorbed by the skin and hair. it isn’t comedogenic so it won’t clog pores or follicles. it’s also a much better carrier oil. i add rosemary and castor oil to it to promote growth and moisture retention. the fridababy cradle cap kit will help get rid of the flakes. scrub their scalp with the silicone scrubber and shampoo. then rinse and add conditioner the use the fine tooth comb while the conditioner is in their hair to get any remaining flakes. rinse and then when they get out of the bath lather their head in grapeseed oil and comb it with the fine tooth comb again it should go away with that routine. what shampoo and conditioner are you using?
I use grapeseed oil and a toothbrush and a comb. I massage the oil into the scalp good and brush the cradle cap areas with the toothbrush. I comb the hair too, as needed so it don’t get tangled and wash it all out with baby shampoo. Sometimes then put a small amount of oil to keep the scalp from being dry.
https://a.co/d/0UYbgqH Idk any natural remedies but this stuff works very well. We used it with the Frida Cradle Cap system.
I used breastmilk, in much the same way people are describing using coconut or other oils.
Coconut oil and you can get those silicone baby bath brushes from Amazon xx
I made a home made sugar scrub using sugar, coconut oil and essential oils for my daughter and it worked wonders. I would rub it into her hair during every bath and then run a comb through her hair after the bath lightly scraping the scalp to get any flakes that came loose from the scrub
@luu🤎 what about organic baby jojoba oil? What’s good to put on baby’s hair for hydration to support growth etc ? Thanks!

@D33 yep jojoba oil is good! just more expensive, so i got for the grapeseed. i go through a lot of oil as a braider and mom of 2. plus my man has locs hahaha i add rosemary oil and black castor oil to it to promote growth and help retain the moisture. castor oil is super thick so it’s great for sealing the cuticle of the hair and locking in all the moisture. and rosemary is amazing for hair growth
@luu🤎 thanks so much we are using mustela baby wash for hair and body but I’ll be honest I don’t lather the soap in her hair I’m scared haha I’ve just bought the mustela foam shampoo for cradle cap and the Freda hair comb I’ll come back with an update after x
Thanks so much all fingers crossed it gets better
@Maz no problem! just use the scrubber and really lather it up. it will loosen the flakes up so they’re easy to rinse and comb out
