Antenatal clases - worth the money?
Howdy southsiders, can anyone offer insight or feedback on antenatal classes in the local area?
I’ve been looking at Happy Parents Happy Baby and The Birthing Well.
We are first time parents and don’t have any friends with young kids so looking to prepare ourselves as well as meet people at the same stage.
*edit: we have now attended a midwife at the New Victoria Hospital and picked up a leaflet about NHS “parentcraft” classes.

@Jennifer thanks I have joined the waiting list at Merrygoround as they don’t have any dates scheduled just now, so fingers crossed others do the same so they can get a group going. Definitely keen on some of the postnatal activities they offer ☺️
Lots of folks recommended NCT classes. It's an investment, but they praised them and you do get to meet people (longer classes, more social interactions).. We did New Victoria parent craft classes - they were alright, quite short and not as detailed as i thought they might be 🤷🏼 Was hoping to meet mums with similar due dates there as well, but there weren't much opportunities and everybody were keeping to themselves..
Hello! We did antenatal classes at merry go round as the others were so expensive and not that local to us. In general merry go round is a fab place for everything postnatal too ☺️
