Low progesterone but faint positive HCG?

Has anyone here had a lower progesterone blood test (day 21 aka 7-8dpo test) and had a successful pregnancy? My 7dpo blood test came back at only 1.8 and the normal range is 1.8-23.9 for the luteal phase. Everything ive read said it should be at the very least a 3. I’ve also been doing the Pdg tests from Proov and they’ve been showing up negative. So I was expecting another failed cycle. However, this morning 9 dpo I was surprised to see a very faint line. I took another 3 types of tests around noon and all but the digital has a positive line. I asked my doctor for a blood HCG and progesterone test for tomorrow morning. I’m just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. I’m nervous to get excited yet.

I have low progesterone. They saw it on my second blood test. At 5 weeks and 2 days. I’m currently 8 weeks and 5 days. Hope this makes you feel better! I’m not in the clear yet but getting there! Omg edit, they put me on progesterone supplements!

I would ask for progesterone supplements. I had two miscarriages due to low progesterone (numbers were around 4-5) and when I conceived my daughter my progesterone was at a 6 and they put me on suppositories until I was 12 weeks. Fingers crossed for you!!

if your progesterone is lower your doc will put you on progesterone suppositories to help raise them

Thank you, I’ll update with my progesterone levels when I get them back (hopefully later today)

Hi, should progesterone be increasing throughout pregnancy? Mine came back lower at 56 today and I’m 6 weeks. I started off with 84 at 4 weeks. I’m so anxious as I’ve been experiencing mild cramping and spotting

@Mia your doctor should put you on progesterone suppositories or pills most likely the suppositories it’s the number 1 rule for low progesterone

@Angelina it was borderline low, but since it was progressing I wasn’t put on supplements. I’m 19 weeks now and so far everything looks good

mine was an 11 when i was 6 weeks so i had do progesterone supplements until i was 11 weeks. I’m now 21 weeks

@Angelina he doesn’t think it’s low enough at 56. I’m trying to book in with a specialist for second opinion.
