@Ashley yeah we have tried this but recently she says her stomach hurts every time after she's eaten
I also have a 3 year old daughter who has always been super fussy with food and will happily not eat anything. As bad as it sounds, I ended up offering her junk foods like crisps, ice creams, yoghurts and jellies thinking it would help expand her stomach and it worked! She still doesn’t eat properly but she’ll have some protein and carbs throughout the day which is better than nothing. She also complained of a belly ache but we have only just figured out that she’s trying to say she’s hungry and it’s the grumbling that makes her think it’s pain so we offer her more food or snacks that she enjoys 🙈 If you feel like you’ve tried everything and it’s just not working maybe speak to your doctor and express your concern, they may have some advice for you! Wishing you all the best! 😇
@Heran yeah like I offer her junk she just don't want owt
My little one hasn’t ate properly since she had her 1 year jabs. It changed her into a different person and a very fussy eater. I worry so much that my little girl isn’t getting enough. She is now old enough for me to have a conversation with her and for her to understand things a little bit more so I try to explain to her that I need her to try different food so that she’s big and strong for big school. She will eat so much variety at nursery but I struggle at home as all she wants to eat is yoghurts, apples carrots and broccoli. I know they are good for her but she doesn’t get much else other than junk food. Crisps, jelly cakes etc. lately I’ve stopped asking her what she wants and have just been putting different variety of food down for her and asking her to try it all. I’ve been pleasantly surprised. She does take a bite and try things and will say if she likes it or not but will not eat more than a bite. I’m hoping that starting a school this week will help to improve this.
Maybe sit some of her favorite Barbie’s, animals, etc in front of her and feed them a bite and her a bite. Or watch a show where kids her age are eating. Some ideas. :/ your doing good though I hear lots of moms say this
