In hoping for some advise please. I tested positive on Saturday with a HCG test but today with a clear blue test it’s negative. My period was due on Saturday and I just had a feeling it wasn’t going to come. I miscarried in Feb and my period in March arrived 4 week after. Does anyone know if my MC could affect the results? Have I tested too early? Thank you in advance. X

Did you use a digi clear blue? I know they need a higher level of hCG to pick up a positive. I would test again with a red strip test and see what it comes back as. Good luck! X

@Georgie hi. Yes I did and I didn’t do it first thing in the morning, maybe I should have.

Are you still testing positive with the line tests? The digitals take more HCG to set off so that may be why it’s negative

@Haley I haven’t tried the line tests since the negative clear blue tbh.

Little update: took a test today and only one line. Sucks that I got my hopes up after seeing 2 on Saturday and I don’t get why. Really hope my period comes soon! I’m on day 33 of my cycle and so bloated and uncomfortable!!

Hcg can take upto 6 weeks to go from body. Same thing happened with me. Had Mc in Feb and tried to bd after 2 weeks and i tested but it turned out that hcg from my MC was still in my body ☹️
