Experience with CPMC Van Ness, Stanford Medical/Sequoia Hospital, and UCSF Mission

I am international and having my first pregnancy. We are really happy but at the same time, feel overwhelmed. Most of the people I know went to Kaiser and this is not covered by my insurance. Can you share your experience with any of the above hospitals for prenatal care and delivery?

So far it’s been good for me at Van Ness. Great facility and they guide you well.

I delivered at Stanford 6 weeks ago and had a really positive experience. I was induced and it all went super smoothly and I had a great team. Would highly recommend Stanford!

I delivered twice at Lucille Packard Stanford and LOVED it. I saw an ob at pamf in Los Altos. I forgot his name but he’s the only Indian doctor there. Great doctors there.

I had an amazing experience at UCSF-mission bay, highly highly recommend. They also try to do more natural/vag births.
