Waking up during the day
My little girl is 5.5 weeks, I wake her every 3-4 hrs during the day for a feed but during the night let her wake naturally which is usually the same around every 3-4 hrs. I was just wondering how other mums go about feeding during the day, do you let them wake themselves or wake them up? Not sure if I should just leave her to sleep and tell me when she’s ready to feed! Any advice would be greatly appreciated🩷

Health visitor told me yesterday (at 14 days) to now only respond feed now above birth weight as we were also waking baby every 4 hours. However still setting our alarms for every 4.5 hours atm for personal reassurance xx
@Hollie that’s what I have been doing, once it gets to around 4(ish) hours I will try wake her xx
Hooow do you all get them to sleep for 4 hours in the day😩 mine won’t do more than 2 lol
Our baby is 3 weeks old and we let her wake naturally for her feed she wakes every 3-4 hours by herself!x
@Rebecca same! My 6 week old is feeding every 2 hours on the dot! And awake for the most part and still wakes every 2 hours at night!

My daughter is 6 weeks old and I don’t wake her during the day for feeds. I find she feeds so much better if I wait until she tells me she’s hungry instead of waking her up to feed her xx
