Is it normal for pregnancy test to still be a faint line at estimated six weeks?

I’ve gotten positives with early detection tests both line and digital but when I take regular tests they’re so faint and I feel like my last pregnancy my lines were so much darker I don’t know if it’s normal for it to be so light and today marks me six weeks

Maybe it's to early for it to get that dark

You could be earlier than you thought....dates can be very confusing,I had to go off by blood work and ultrasounds as my pregnancy test where light at first I thought I was further along turns out I was only 4 weeks 😂🫣

@Rhiannon six weeks too early ?

@Pamela I didn't no I was pregnant cuase I had My period the 1st month Iwas pregnant n the 2nd month was over a week late when I tested

I took three more early detection tests this morning and they’re all positive

The darkness usually depends on the hormone level at the moment you take the test, and it can vary hour to hour. :)

I’m in the same boat just now I should be around 5 weeks tomorrow every test I’ve taken has been faint positives. I have a blockage in my right tube so seen early pregnancy on Wednesday she done my bloods and it’s was positive but only sitting at 27mlu. These are my test so top was 6ish yesterday tea time middle was 4am and bottom was 10am (the 10 am has been my strongest test from my 25mlu ones) so I’m praying that’s a good sign🤞🏽 x

I personally think that those dip test take forever for their lines to start getting actually dark but that’s just my experience with that brand

Hormones can vary so much by the thousands so hard to say. Deffo positive though x

Some preg tests will only be faint at 6 weeks as there is too much hcg for them to register dark lines
