No problem 🫶🏼 I only have a few pregmates left, that I’m holding onto for another week or so just so I can get one just to do it for the sake of it 😂 Yet, pregmates are still more sensitive than the doctor office ones. (Not so) funny story, but now it is bc it’s ok: went to my doctor office at 4 weeks on the dot and my urine was negative there. Like, I had been positive for a week at that point. Immediately went home and took a pregmate (super positive), and a FRER (dye stealer). So def don’t drink a lot before your first apt 🤣 Luckily my blood work confirmed I def was (am)
@Lauren please let me know if you ever get a dye stealer on the Pregmate!! That’s annoying that they know their urine tests need to be so strong but don’t draw blood to begin with 😂. I went ahead and already got my blood drawn because I needed to hear from a doctor ‘youre pregnant’ it just wasn’t real otherwise lol
A gal on another post was talking about the "hook effect" and to make sure to test with diluted urine from later in the day on those little strips. Instead of fmu like the FRER tests say to use. I was getting super light lines on the little strips, too, but I was testing first thing in the morning. Then I switched to afternoon and boom, dark line! Just in case that works for you, too!
@Lauren an update… I got a dye stealer on Pregmate this morning! I’m not sure how far along I actually am but my last period puts me around 5 weeks!
Congrats!! I’ll be 7 weeks tomm and keep forgetting to test it out, so I might hit my hook effect at this point 😅
Pregmates require 25 miu to show while FRER only needs 7 I’m 6 weeks and still cannot get a dye stealer or even line on my pregmate 😂 But my FRER is so dark it almost takes away the control like entirely
