Everything
It's easy to think that when you have nothing to compare it to because we don't have time machines. Bad people always existed amongst good people. Usually grannies complain about "today's generation"𤣠I meet good and bad people of all ages. Racism was definitely worse! I will not advocate for a more hateful and violent world. Believe it or not we live in a less violent world because we have laws and consequences that didn't exist "back in the day". Yet there are countries outside of US, that still struggle. I think we have it pretty good most of the time. I enjoy progress, even if others choose to see it as a bad thing. Literally the only things that have changed is humans have over-populated and are polluting. We have technology that has advanced our access to information. Sometimes that information is something bad that happened in a town or state we never would've heard about without advanced media. I suggest looking for the positive in situations. Optimism, find a silver lining. Glass half full đ
Every single generation says this lol. The world changes, you can't expect it not to. People have always been offended, the internet has just made it so we see other people's perspectives.
I always find those that are the most âbutthurtâ about things tend to be the older generations or âtraditionalâ types and because they canât handle our evolving world and society, they lash out and ironically call everyone else the âsnowflakesâ. Also those who think they have a free pass to talk to others like shit just because they donât agree with them then tend to throw around the âbutthurt/snowflake/wokeâ insults as a way to try and invalidate others opinions. Itâs ok to miss the way things used to be, but life moves on. Attitudes change, society changes, (usually for the better!). Thatâs not new, thatâs how itâs always been. We are all always evolving. Donât wish for the past but aim to understand and educate yourself and live in the here and now without demonising everything.
@Rebecca couldn't agree more that both extremes are equally getting upset instead of just embracing or being indifferent to the inevitable change. Being upset is a choice, we can choose a different perspective. Accept that people, places and things are different. We all have our own process and journey.
It's the fact of yes people have always been corrupt but it's getting worse, hell people are dismembering history without fully knowing the history, people are building the same company less than a block away from each other which that part is just a personal thing I find it a waste of good money but thats just me. Then Biden and all of his glory and funding things he really shouldn't (y'all can disagree) you got people who see a shirt that ocd and under it indicating "obsessive Christmas decorations" who wanna cry and get it "canceled" I have OCD and I find that type of shit hilarious. Or say one wrong thing and wanna be drama queens about it or what people call it now a days a "karen." Feel like if they don't like something they HAVE to put others down and say a bunch of shit because they disagree. You got men in women sports and probably vise versa you got " men" being spokes person for feminine stuff and hell we had a biological man the "woman of the year" plus more! I may be 30 but it's going downhill.
They got dumbed down by media and pop culture.
You sound pretty butthurt yourself
Lol
@Marie âď¸ oh! Don't forget the lack of discipline and acting like if they're off of their phones for more than 2 seconds act like they're going to die lol.
@Victoria right, and then they'll just reward bad behaviors. See it all the time. Kids shouldn't have smartphones. It does nothing for their development, actually hinders it.
@Marie âď¸ exactly!!!
Exactly! I was telling my girls the other day ( they are 10 and 7 ) that things have been changing so much even since I was their age. These days, it seems like parents are supposed to let kids basically live in a bubble and do what they want, but then when they get older, if they make mistakes, it's like it's our fault. I love my kids so much, but it honestly feels like a lose-lose situation sometimes. If we punish them for getting in trouble or don't give them food every 5 minutes we arent doing our jobs correctly as parents, but then if they get older and still think they can live however they want and not think about what could happen it's because we didn't teach our kids and do our jobs as parents. I'm scared to see how things are going to be with kids and parenting in the next 20 years or so.
@Alyssa I am right there with you!! And some of the people's views is just crazy! Like food back in the day was healthier and cleaner. Now we're getting all of these recalls and added chemicals that shouldn't be in our foods. We used to farm and do all sorts of natural shit to survive and we were a community. Now governments are purposely sabotaging farms. Trying to deviate off course and brain wash people and 85% of these people are falling for it!
