FRER second line too light for day before period is due?

My period’s due tomorrow and I took a FRER this morning and got this result. The line darkened up a bit within the 10min window (second photo of darker line posted in the comments) but I’m wondering if this could be a chemical pregnancy given how light the line is for the day before my period is due given these tests are meant to detect up to 6 days before your period is due…any help much appreciated!

I’d say that’s pretty good!!! I didn’t even get a positive the day before missed period congrats mama!

Pregnant

That’s very reassuring @Elizabeth Whitney ! Thanks for the insight!

Technically you could implant up to 12dpo, and it takes up to 48 hours for there to be enough Hcg to be detectable on a test, so you could have just implanted late!

Congratulations! ☺️ My 6 day early test line was faint like yours too, i found out 10 days ago and i was 11dpo at the time. I tested each day as couldnt believe i was actually pregnant but now the lines show up straight away and are really dark. Maybe give it a few days and test again ☺️ x

@Holly how long did it take to get darker? I’ve had ones like this for 2 days and I’m convincing myself it’s a false positive as it’s not got darker in a day 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Abbie girl I'm going to be honest it took 8-9 days after my first faint positive it takes a while!♥️♥️

@Abbie 2 days isn't enough time 🤷‍♀️💕

@Abbie it doubles every 48-72hrs for most people only 15%of women double every 24-48 hours ...some can take several days ... remember after implantion it takes 4-7 days for HCG to get high enough .♥️

@Abbie it depends on the sensitivity too of the test the ones I used where able to detect HCG 3-7 after implantion they are extremely sensitive and cheap to buy online ♥️

@Holly this is so reassuring, thank you. I’m so nervous as it hasn’t been long at all since my MC of twins and I’m comparing it all to that (even though I know it will be different), my mind is going mad!

Mine got darker each day with my last pregnancy and it still ended in a MC so sadly lines getting darker certainly isn’t an assurance everything is well and neither are lines not getting darker as you might hope ☹️
