Autistic child Homeschool vs public school
This question is for anyone that has a level 2 autistic child. I’m going back and forward with enrolling my son into public school. My other two are homeschooled. I would like to know the pros and cons of both. Also any important classes or things I need to know. I’m completely lost,and a checklist would be moreee then welcomed. As for my son he speaks, and loved to play with other children. I guess what I’m really asking is what do I need to make sure he’s successful in life. I have a homeschool setting, and I’m searching for curriculum that won’t bore him. I want the tools so I don’t fail him so I’m reaching out before he starts kindergarten.
My son started public school preschool at 3, he’s also level 2. We got an IEP which has since been turned into a 504 as he heads to first grade and no longer needs as much help. He is excelling at math and I plan to buy the Miacademy lifetime subscription as the school year starts so he can work on some extra outside of school.
