It doesn't stop ovulation it just delays it I believe. Your uterus lining doesn't get as thick either so if you do conceive then the chances of an egg becoming viable decrease too. It goes back to normal when you stop taking it. It's the same/very similar hormone that's in the mini pill. But I don't think that Norethisterone is supposed to be taken as much/often as the mini pill, it's just to delay your period for X amount of days. It's nickname is the Honeymoon pill 😄
@Katie ahhhh ok that makes sense, I honestly only took 3, then stopped, as it was just to delay my period whilst having a fun weekend with my kids and hubby. X
It could delay it for a week or so but not permanently X
