Dog and twins
I have 6 month old twins, we lost our Boxer dog in December due to cancer 9 days before the twins came home from Nicu, still breaks my heart now that they never met!
We have spoken about getting a dog within the next year or so.. we would like a puppy, so the twins and puppy can grow up together. (Also so we can train puppy how we want) They will be 1 by then, has anyone else got a puppy when they are this young? Is it manageable? Any tips? We would want a biggish dog as small dogs just aren’t our thing 😅

Our beagle is fantastic with our baby twins but he’s six now. I’d highly recommend the breed they are a great family dogs x
So sorry..that must have been a hard time 😢 We had a 6 month old puppy when we bought home our boys from hospital! It was tough at first (and we did let his training slide as we know how intense those first few weeks and months are with twins) however he is so kind and gentle with the boys and VERY patient with them and they absolutely love him. So although it can have it’s challenges it’s really worth while when you see the bond 💖 x
