Baby / Cot Pillows

I’ve not introduced a pillow yet, but seen a ‘hack’ to put the pillow under the sheet, if you’re worried about pillow cases might be worth a try?

@Lauren if you try this be mindful of the fact your baby cannot move the pillow if they need to for whatever reason if it’s under the sheet. Milo moves his pillow a lot so he doesn’t completely cover his face when lying on it (he’s a belly sleeper) I tried it under the sheets once while his pillow case was in the wash and it generally scared me because his whole face was buried and he was fighting it trying to move it with no luck

It honestly was! I would never dream of going it again, pillowcase works great for us you just had to be sure to get the right size for the pillow

@Katie il definitely be doing that. I'm so nervous about everything as it is I don't want to be awake all night staring at her worried about her suffocating. I didn't even think about pillows until I seen a post about it. Ftm and totally clueless 🙈 thank you x

I feel you I’m a first time mum but Milo’s had a pillow for 6+ months now the worry at first was horrid so he only had a pillow for naps and not at night but within a a couple weeks he’d shown so much interest in it and shown that he could move it safely out of his face so we just let him have it constantly Glad I could help

@Katie oh wow 6 months he's so advanced compared to my lg either that or I'm doing a rubbish job lol I honestly didn't even think babies could have pillows. She tosses and turns so much I am hoping it will help her have a better sleep. Everything is so overwhelming as a ftm and she's been in and out of hospital and doctors since she was born.
