To call triage or not?

This morning I tested my urine at home a couple of times and it’s showing 0.3 (+30) for protein in there, and about an hour ago I was seeing white floating dots in front of my eyes for about 10 seconds…. But my blood pressure is absolutely fine. Should I call or am I probably ok?

I'd give them a buzz you must be a fair number of weeks in now if you are due in July. They might reassure you x

Please ring them! I had these same symptoms and I have now got pre-eclampsia. I hope you are ok.

I would ring. It could be nothing. +30 is classed as "trace". Make sure when you're collecting the sample you're wiping first, peeing a little & then collecting as often we get a trace amount from discharge etc. which is completely normal & the heat could be causing you to see the dots. Hopefully that's all it is, but best of luck my dear

I would call them, they would probably ask you to bring in a sample of your urine to take to the lab as this happened to me a few weeks ago x

I would call to be safe there is so much more that goes into preclampsia then just blood pressure as well! I had severe preclampsia my last pregnancy and had every symptom expect high blood pressure!

Ring and get them to check for preeclampsia x

I had pre-eclampsia, I saw a specialist after ringing triage. I went in they did blood pressure and matched it up with what I was pre-pregnancy, and did reflex tests. My blood pressure was top end normal but reflexes were delayed. Which were contrary to the blood pressure, so alot more goes into it than just blood pressure and urine. I was delivered last Sunday after finding out about the diagnosis
